Kakheti Wine Region Tour + 10 Premium Wine Tastings & Sunset
Check out the Kakheti wine region for a one-of-a-kind experience, including stops at Bodbe and the romantic city of Signagi.
Get ready to dive into the beauty, flavors, and traditions of Georgia’s famous Kakheti Wine Region with this awesome full-day adventure from Tbilisi. You’ll sip on some of the best wines around, soak in stunning landscapes, check out historic landmarks, and really get a feel for local culture in one of the world’s oldest wine regions.
We’ll meet up between 10:30 AM and 10:45 AM at the Giant Bicycle Monument in Tbilisi and hit the road at 11:00 AM. Just look for our team in red scarves - you can’t miss us!
First stop: the legendary KTW Warehouse. Here, you’ll get to taste a bunch of Georgian wines and brandy while learning all about the country’s ancient winemaking traditions. Next, we’ll head to Vineria, a cozy local wine cellar, for even more tastings. If you’re hungry, you can grab a traditional Georgian lunch (it’s optional and costs a little extra).
After that, we’ll swing by Badiauri Village where you can try traditional Churchkhela (a local sweet) and, if you’re up for it, join in a bread-making workshop for just 5 GEL.
We’ll also visit the gorgeous Bodbe Monastery, one of Georgia’s most important religious spots, surrounded by peaceful gardens and epic views.
Then it’s off to Sighnaghi, the "City of Love." Wander its charming streets, admire the colorful balconies, and take in the panoramic views of the Alazani Valley. We’ll also check out the historic Sighnaghi Wall - it’s one of the longest fortress walls in the world!
As the day winds down, we’ll stop to catch the sunset in Kakheti. Weather can be a bit unpredictable, but we always try to make it special.
We’ll head back to Tbilisi around 10:00 PM, depending on traffic.
